Absolute disgrace of a surgery. The receptionist are trying to act like doctors. Take 1 hour 30 mins in the morning for phone to be answered. When finally get an appointment have to wait another hour in the surgery even thought you’re on time. Absolute disgrace.
probably the worst doctors surgery in the whole of UK- full of lying and rude receptionists. I’ve had an issue with the waiting time for my appointment after waiting months and months to even get one
Appalling surgery, with ‘some’ obnoxious, unhelpful staff. I would rather listen to their annoying ‘on-hold’ music which is usually well over an hour or so than speak with a so called receptionist. Appointments are mainly over the telephone which is ridiculous and although a time is given, the GP NEVER calls on time - AVOID!!
I suffer with COPD. Recent phonecall to the surgery due to I need to start steroids as soon as possible which is not normally a problem but was told that I would have to ring at 8.00am tomorrow to get an appointment as they have no appointments today. I need to start course of steroids . I give up!
On the phone for 2 hours, an hour in a queue and an hour being number 1 then ringing and going back to a queue. I am a nurse myself and work long hours, a day off spending my morning trying to phone the practice. At my place of work I ring the GP on a daily basis and never experienced a wait this long most 10 minutes. I am so disappointed and will have to use 111 service! What a joke
Absolutely dreadful place. Staff on reception are obstructive, rude and inept. Dr's used to be good but recent experiences have been phone only and it appears things have gone downhill further.
I joined the surgery since 1998 with my family and I was very happy until Dr Baker,Dr Edward and Dr Wilkinson left beside very professional receptionist and qualified nurses.disappeared then I have seen completely inappropriate treatment.
Do you want mis-diagnosis? Do you want the world's worst healthcare and treatment? Do you want serious health issues to go undiagnosed? Do you want extra long waiting times? This is the surgery for you. Incompetence doesn't cut it!
Again been on hold for an appointment for over 20 mins just to be told that no appointments available again. Absolutely dreadful doctors doctors and will be moving.
Just had my diabetes appointment with sister Kate Freeman and I would like to thank her for all the care and health tips she gave me I’ve had a good experience with meadowside also Dr Chris Baylis for getting me sorted with my prostate thank you all for your help and the receptionists of course
