Only just recently started walking in this park with my wife, the people who also walk in the park whether with their dogs or their family are really nice and decent people. I was surprised by their friendly ways, always smiling and saying hello to anyone walking past. Even the men who look after the park are really friendly and say hello. I honestly thought that these type of people were not around anymore. It has restored my faith...or maybe I was the one out of step. It has taught me a lesson.
After the rain and snow overnight, its a tad moist!!!!!
The park is good for children, with lots of facilities to amuse them. The area is also enclosed, which makes it safer & a bonus for parents who don't have to be concerned that their child will sprint from the swings, etc to across the road! There is also a large field which often has football matches played on it by various leagues & although I am immune to it, it seems that those playing find it very enjoyable. The park is generally clean with any dog walkers obeying the law, as well as merely being a responsible dog owner & picking up if their dog leaves a mess.
Great park for the family. Nice blend of beautification relaxing space and play area. Well kept park for both small and bigger kids. Swings, slides, sandpit, sea saw and things that make you dizzy. Also includes a concrete football pitch and concrete small bike track painted playground. Worth the visit.
Love this Park, it's kept well, very well maintained. Fond memories of my Grandad here when we was kids. Bowling Green amd gardens are looked after. Kids playground no graffiti or litter. It has an nice atmosphere here and it's a nice place to walk your dog or to just sit n relax.
Great park, lovely dog walking community and the park keepers Alan and Mark are helpful and funny! Well kept gated area with bowling green. There's also a playground and large grass areas to play football. Well worth a visit.
Lovely park, very well maintained and clean too. Not 5 stars, because of crowds of scallies on bikes hanging about under the light on the football/basketball court. There's also usually one bloke..sat on his own..on a bench..in the dark. I wonder what he's doing there...
A pleasant walk along pathways leading through some trees, flowers and greenery, and a brief but welcome respite from the ubiquitous monotony of high density urban dwellings. The park is well maintained and has some recreational features.
Lovely area although I was nearby, dropping something off i didn't actually use the park but it looked good people where happy and it has a nice feeling about it xx
Kids love it. Its nice and clean and the younger children's playground is behind a gated railing that makes it nice and safe for your little one to run around without being near the road
