Staff there are very caring towards their residents. Recently had some bad publicity relating to an outbreak of coronavirus. Well these nurses and carers are fighting an uphill battle against government legislation as some the the residents have no concept of how to isolate and even though they're being asked to stay in their rooms. It's against the law to force them to to so. And everyone should realise that if the patient is suffering from Parkinson's or Alzheimer's or any one of these terrible debilitating diseases they are basically a child in an elderly body and cannot adhere to what's being asked of them.nTherefore the virus is spreading so bloody easily and it's NOT the carers or Nurses or Managements fault. It's the fault of the people that make the laws and rules that stop the carers being able to lock them in a room to stop the spread of the virus. Residents would still receive the best and upmost care, just in a segregated way which would most definitely be effective.nMoral is at its lowest currently and it's because they've not got the full support of the powers at be.nSupport these peopl instead of throwing stones. Everyone will grow old someday and need care. THINK before you criticise.
I am glad to have been part of the team. Great home and wonderful colleagues.
