A bit hit an miss with the chips, they can be a bit saturated in fat, but otherwise always a decent meal.
Have had two takeaways from here in the last couple of months, both times it’s been awful, the chips were burnt hard and oily, the chicken curry was much to hot could not eat it and the chicken balls were hard greasy and the chicken was very dry , this takeaway has gone down hill in the last year, in my opinion it might help to change the oil.
Drive past every day but something has stopped me ever going in. My loss as ordered a set meal for 2, extra dish and a pancake roll. Was more than enough for 3 of us and probably the best Chinese I’ve had in years. Lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend, thank you for a delicious takeaway.
Extortionate pricing The chow mein cost £6.50 for 1/3 meat and 2/3 rice. Thin a tuppaware mostly full of rice, however, I couldn't tell because they hide the rice under the meat. I had ordered rice as well because it didn't occur to me I was paying £6.50 for rice and a little bit of meat. To put this in perspective, the magic wok charges £5.70 for the same size container of meat and almost entirely meat with a little bit of noodles. Also ordered pineapple and chicken, got about 2/3 pineapple and 1/3 chicken. Their prices are extortionate.

Always good food. I go past 2 other chinese to come here. A 30 mile round trip! Says it all.
The food from here is fantastic. I live in the surrounding area and more than happy to travel to collect as they are the nicest chinese takeaway I have found withing driving distance.
