As every morning I visited Margiotta Lasswade Rd. to get my paper and some bakery. What I have noticed one of the staff members was stocking the Pain Aux Resin without any protection on her handsdisposal gloves It was just disgusting to witness it. From today 02.08.2022 I am stopping doing a shopping in this store.
Not the cheapest but extremely convenient being only 200 metres from my home. They have a reasonably large selection and the Co Op products are good value. Their wine selection is excellent and compares favourably with the larger supermarkets.
Good layout well presented and as good choice if not better than such as Sainsburys. There's even Parking. Rapidly becoming unavailable ever since EDC introduced so many kerb poles for so few cyclist. Only lacks is a parcel return point for Amazon, UPS or Hermes ect.
Great shop and lots of choice of different food & drinks.. handy local shop. The staff always look a bit miserable unfortunately. Visited the shop tonight and the staff member just couldn’t be bothered. No please or thank you but lots of grunts.., but it was late so maybe they had had a long day, shame though as it’s a great wee shop.
This is a classic Margiotta where the prices seem to dearer than most. An small example is a pack of soothers are 79p where in Tesco around the corner is 60p. I did not give the review a 2 as the staff are nice and polite.
Perfect for the small items you nip in and out for. Excellent wine list, at great prices.
Great place to get quick snacks that small corner shops don't sell Also the 'dog parking' is funny and helpful

Quality store with quality people. If this place wasn't in Liberton, I have no idea where I would go for local food!
