A good place to go to sell your old books. Would definitely recommend when open.

Tried to visit today - early afternoon on 7 August 2017- but place was closed. No sign to say if it was closed for a day, a holiday or permanently shut.

This secondhand book stall is slightly mislabelled on the map and is in fact at the very end of Church Street, on the corner with High Street and opposite the Arndale. Hardbacks, better quality stock and rarer items are displayed on the shelves on the back wall. In front of that, there's a lot of stock, mostly paperbacks of varying condition and including quite a lot of genre fiction, all piled haphazardly on tables to a depth of six or seven books. It's not easy to browse but can reward the effort, as you often find things at the bottom that no customer has probably seen for some time. I've had quite a few serendipitous discoveries and bargains from here.

Really good range  of books. Some of them at bargain  prices. Highly recommend a visit if your a avid reader.

Absolutely go if you love books or like to venture and see classic books. It's super cheap as well!
