My experience with these guys has been wonderful. I am more into vintage and rare literary stuff and Paramount has plenty of such. May be it's not for everyone but I found a good number of rare books which I kept looking for. You can find plenty online but I am someone who would love to hold a book in hand to read.
As soon as you walk in you know you've found a fine secondhand bookshop. A good choice for anyone looking to spend some time book browsing.
Spectacular little bookstore. The staff were very friendly, and extremely helpful. They have a great selection of books for all ages, and comics too!
Loved it, very unique.
Love this book store. Met the owner a few years ago and he was really annoyed with this women who wouldn't get of her phone. He has signs saying no phones but people are rude. Love the comic section at the back and feels like I've gone back in time when I go in. Favourite store.
Great place to find rare collectables. Manager is awesome, been working there nearly fourty years. Trick is to be there when it's actually open, which is not often enough.
Rude owner. Regardless of the quality of his products, the jazz playing in the background and abundance of unique books, I would NEVER buy anything from him out of sheer principle. He ruins what he has created just by treating you poorly. Don’t be rude to your customers. They pay your bills.
What a great kooky little shop. Sells all sorts of books/comics/magazines. I even bought some plectrums for my guitar. These places are a dying breed. Shop here and support it.
