Love this place. Good menu. Home cooked food beautifully presented. Gets very busy over lunch times so the staff are rushed off their feet. Perhaps the office staff could pop out and give a hand? Would do wonders for customer relations and stop people stomping off in a huff!! ☺☺

Excellent menu. We had the smoked salmon, hot smoked salmon and prawn sandwich with a small soup. It was beautifully presented, extremely filling and very tasty. As for the farm shop it is one of the best I have found. There is a huge range of fresh and smoked food a good freezer section and an extremely well stocked kitchen and household goods department.

Reasonable food and friendly service but the food is poor value for money. Two Sandwiches and tea cost over £20. The shop is pricey too. Won't bother again. Andy

Surprisingly good cafe attached to the Smokehouse shop. The scones are very good and the scone/jam/clotted cream/tea deal (£4.95) is excellent value. On the day we visited the service could have been a little warmer.

Very nice and quiet place , lovely staff and reasonable prices. Great ambience and lots of free Parking , pure northern touch
