“Excellent for solo travel” i have order a single room with private toilet at 6F. The room is large with adequate lights. No smell. I could open the window for ventilation, the night scene is great as well. The location is very convenient, the luggage storage provide add extra points to that. I feel safe when living here. Although the bed sheet seems to be not changed, and there are some hair remain at the shower, it is still acceptable clean as a hotel of HKD550/night with breakfast. p.s. Breakfast buffet is unexpectedly tasting good with a nice variety of choices.
Its location is superb, right across the Tate Modern, near the Millennium bridge on your way to St Paul's. The breakfast here is to die for. They've got a varied selection of food that caters for most people and you can eat as much as you like. As for the rooms, they are well provisioned and are comfortable. You can leave your bags in their storage room if you need to for free, if you're staying there. I found their free water dispenser extremely useful. Safe and convenient.
If I had known about this place earlier, I would have stayed here with my family during our time in London. It’s clean, safe, has a great staff, and is in an excellent location—honestly, better than a hotel. Don’t waste time searching—just stay here! Highly recommended.Rooms: 4/5
Was working late in London and booked a last minute room, really pleasantly surprised. Basic accommodation but clean and spacious, pretty quiet. Had low expectations, thinking was just a bare student room but got towels, soap, tea and coffee in room and the breakfast was excellent - loads of choice. I didn't arrive until 1130pm but check in was seamless and staff were really friendly. Great location near Tate Modern and Southwark tube. A little gem. Rooms: As above, basic but reasonably spacious, comfortable and clean Food & drinks: Great breakfast which I hadn't expected
This is our second time staying here. First as a couple and this time round with our 2 daughters. We had a quad room and it was great. The breakfast is tasty and we enjoyed the waffles and pancakes. You don't stay here expecting luxury, you stay for the location and price and for those reasons we will be back!
You pay fir what u get. Rooms very basic but good enough for those just just return to hotel at end of long day sightseeing. Breakfast was awesome but can be a long que no matter what time you go to restaurant. Service top notch
I stay here every year, the location and value are unbeatable in this part of London. The rooms are basic no TV but the bed is comfy with complementary WiFi, towels, toiletries and a kettle etc. Extensive cooked breakfast included in the price.Rooms: 4/5
I stayed here for 2 nights and for the price, it was worth it. I would absolutely come back to stay here due to affordability, location and amenities. Staying here also was also nostalgic, a reminder of my university years staying in a university accommodation, adding to the experience. Great location for attractions at the South Bank and near London Bridge. However it is not very near to any Tube station. Both Blackfriars Station and London Bridge Station are 10-15 mins away, so dragging a luggage bag may feel like a chore! Regardless the location is still excellent to explore a different side of London. There is a Coop and Amazon store nearby for basic groceries and several restaurants. Burough Market and the Southwark area is a 10 minute walk away. An interesting area to explore for food and drinks. The room is basic, clean and comfortable. A bit of a nostalgia to my university days. It's all you need, a clean bed, towels, toiletries. I am pleased for the space and the room. The shower is excellent. As long as the place is clean, I am glad! I was indeed surprised that we get breakfast included with the rates. I love the breakfast, again a nostalgia to my university days - English fry up, porridge, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, selection of fruit, tea, coffee, juice. For the price, it's a generous offering. Of course you have to eat in the dining room style but it's really part of the dorm experience. I guess the only negative was during my first morning there, the fire alarm rang and we had to evacuate. That was an inconvenient wake-up call. I hope it's rare though but good to know the alarms are working.
The bad was so uncomfortable and the bathroom so claustrophobically cramped that I cannot recommend this hotel for more than one or two nights. It was vaguely clean though, and the great location right in front of Tate Museum make it a decent choiceRooms: 3/5
Great location, comfortable room, it was great that breakfast was included. We had a twin room with an ensuite bathroom. No airs and graces, but was functional for what we needed. I would return.Rooms: 3/5
