First of all the staff was very rude and stuck up. There is a guy who work in the evening shift and he acts like that that guests are staying there for free. I had to go out early one morning and the guy didn't let me have the breakfast because it was 6.50. The toilets are dirty and broken. There are two showers which is dirty and small. The rooms are really small you'll feel like you are stuck in a sardine tin. Three bed bunk's and 1.5 feet space between the top bed. Really thin mattress which will make your sleep very uncomfortable and you will be waking up with a sore back. Pillow is 2 cm thick and the quilt isn't any better. The floor is very dirty and I will be surprised if you get any sleep at night with the noise of the people and the music from the bar. There are old men staying at the place permanently and the bar is full with local alcoholics. There's drug addicts living in some rooms. In the room I stayed there was a guy who smelled like cannabis and drunks who screamed at night. This place is nowhere near London Bridge and it is located in a dodgy part of Kennington. I do not recommend anybody going there, please look for another place and do not pay more than £8.00 night for a place like this.I paid £35 a night which I think is a rip-off. If you love drug addicts drunks and dirty hostels this is the right place for you.
You get what you pay for, and it's quite cheap! Don't forget your earplugs, as in any hostel. It's not as dirty as mentioned in other reviews, and the staff is really helpful. The lockers in the room are all broken, but you can store your luggage in the closet at the reception. The bed-sockets don't work at all, you'll have to stay in the common room to charge everything.
Terrible terrible terrible!! Worst hostel experience I have ever had in 4 years of budget travel. Beds are squashed in tiny rooms, and many of them lack privacy screens. The facilities look as if they haven't been cleaned in years, both of the showers on the second floor serving 24 people were out-of-order, and one of the restrooms had no light as the bulb had burnt out and nobody had gotten around to replacing it. Common area is cramped and filthy. Rooms are not secured and just about anyone could come in and steal your belongings, as the lockers provided are all busted, apparently having been broken into. Staff is unfriendly and inattentive; had to stand at the reception desk for minutes before the check-in girl got off her phone and helped me no apology or smiles. The part of town it's located in is could not be worse, at least a 20 minute walk from the actual London Bridge area hostel SHOULD be called "Journeys Run-Down-and-Dangerous-Part-of-Elephant and Castle". And worst of all, on Friday and Saturday nights they have an awful DJ downstairs in the pub playing absurdly loud top 40 house music until past midnight... to an empty bar. I could feel the vibrations from the subwoofer in my bed on the floor above for hours. This place could not be any worse if satan managed it. Absolutely unthinkable that this garbage bin is still in business. Just about the only positive thing I have to say about this hostel is that they offer peanut butter with the breakfast buffet. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE.

Je to prostě hostel, který je jen na přespání, žádný komfort. Ale je to 3-4 minuty chůze od metra a levné, takže pokud hledáte jen místo na přespání, asi moc lepších míst nenajdete.
