Had are wedding here 15/06/24 all I can say everything was amazing. Best day ever. Thank you for everything you done for us. Food was exceptional, the selfridge suite was beautiful. The staff friendly and helpful, they could not do enough to make our day perfect.
We went to the Lord Bute for the Spring Tasting Menu.nPhenomenal is all I can say. Every dish was beautiful and having the steak tartare made in front of us was amazing. I have not got enough adjectives for how fantastic it was, and the staff were lovely. Perfect anniversary meal and they made me feel my allergies were no hassle.nnThank you Bradley and the team. Definitely not one to be missed
Went here with my Mum for afternoon tea a few months ago. The staff could not have been better. I have a gluten intolerance and they were very careful at making sure my food wasn't cross contaminated by baking my scone separately without asking Makes a huge difference when you don't feel like you're being a pain to be catered for! The food was delicious and service exceptional. Would recommend as somewhere allergen friendly.nnI didn't stay over so that's why I haven't rated rooms
A family member had purchased an afternoon tea for my wife and I as a wedding present and in truth, both of us were looking forward to the experience.nUpon arrival, we were escorted to the restaurant and were looked after well however, I do not believe this business to be as fantastic as advertised. The hotel and restaurant look tired, with dirty blinds, ill fitted carpets under radiators etc. The afternoon tea was okay, although the scones had been dusted with so much icing sugar that we had to knock it off - sadly, it appears that this was because they were burnt and an attempt was made to hide this fact.nLastly, we were given water upon arrival however having drunk most of it, my wife noticed that the inside of the bottle was mouldy... this was raised as a concern to the young man serving us however despite the fact that he replaced the water and was most apolegetic, he did not change the glasses which were full of water from the original bottle!!nIn summary, this establishment is a little underwhelming and I am not convinced that it warrants as being treated as top class.
