Food is lovely from here. However, the lady behind the counter with glasses has no customer service skills whatsoever.nIt’s almost like it is too much trouble to serve you. The chips are delicious. And generally a good quality of food. Have been in twice in the last week at lunchtime. And I’m sad to say, after today I doubt I will return.nVery poor portion served up. When I queried this, she told me that was half a portion of chips. I asked for a full portion. And she tried to charge me a further £3.90 on top of the £3,90 o had just paid. Not sure £7.80 is good value for that meal.nSuch a shame her lack of a smile and rudeness lets the place down.
Popped in for a chippie lunch. Nothing was ready so waited for food to be cooked. Sadly savaloy was limp and lukewarm and the chips weren’t cooked in the middle. Meal was only saved by a thick tasty curry sauce.
Can't rate the food as we weren't allowed to sit on the white chairs in the picture to eat our food, despite it tipping down outside. The restaurant was closed, but to not be allowed to sit and eat on chairs that are inside is ridiculous. Awful customer service, wouldn't recommend to anyone.
In short: Overpriced, below average food and even worse customer service.nnFound the staff to be abrupt and rude, rushing me to give my order and just overall poor customer interaction. Once back and wanting to eat the food we ordered, found the order to be wrong - asked for curry sauce and got mushy peas and to top it off the chips were terrible. Soggy and undercooked. Wasnt able to go back to change the order as too far away by this point.
We got in and were immediately seated at a table, amazing decor and the food was so good. The portions sizes were perfect , though I was full only halfway through eating, the chips are so perfect, crunchy on the outside and creamy and mealt in your mouth on the inside, lovely pics of the sea hung around the place.
