A hidden gem known to locals and recently redesigned by new owners. The food is delicious and plentiful, both breakfast and lunch. There are plenty of seats inside and outside. The Castle grounds are gorgeous. Highly recommend dropping in, taking a stroll along the beach and finishing it off with some food and drinks.

A slightly strange place feels like it was a bolt on to the original building, none the less the staff here are very pleasant and the food is very good.  The location is excellent with the ability to take a stole to the beach after your lunch.

Excellent food and service since re-opening. Lots of locally sourced food.
Good environment. Good value.

Interesting history, pretty gardens, access to beach. Often has musical and other events going on. Popular for weddings. Featured in "Notes on a Small Island" by Bill Bryson, look for Selfridge.
