When my step mother died, as I live abroad, I had a particular set of problems I had to resolve.  Of the major banks, one said they could not do anything, and the others could do something, but Lloyds TSB Stratford-upon-Avon where by far the most helpful to me, especially the staff, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

As a business customer, I am absolutely APPALLED by the so-called 'service' provided by Lloyds Bank.  I have spent countless hours with them on the phone, and they never do what they say they are going to do.  They do not appear to record details of any conversation so the next time I summon up the courage to call them, they have no idea what I'm talking about and I have to start again at square one.  I've had enough, I will be moving my account elsewhere.
