Customer service absolutely shocking. Only having one counter open for the amount of people who bank here is ridiculous, having to wait over half an hour outside to be seen is just poor especially when there are staff walking around that could operate another counter!!
Hopeless branch, have witnessed this degrade over 20 years to the point it's totally unstabinle to the town now. Constantly one out of the two cashiers open with a line of people to the door, and rarely a personal banker in sight despite many tables at the rear. Barclays customer care is poor enough without the help of terrible branches like this.
First customers on a Monday morning, greeted by employee volunteering to be of assistance. A stark contrast to the appearance of the banking hall which had litter scattered all over the floor, a used water bottle on the table. Very dingy, why not employ a cleaner, rather than a lightweight assistant? I have been a Barclays customer for many years at this particular branch which is now unrecognisable in terms of service and appearance from the bank I used to know and rely on.
The bank staff are great, known them for years, they are always helpful, far better than phone banking.
Since the revamp the waiting time to see a cashier has increased significantly. Be prepared to have a long wait!! By far under staffed. Pity because the staff are all very helpful.
Nothing ever opens. But at least theyve got a pride flag...pathetic.
