Waterways Premier Inn short walk from the town or you could walk along the canal which took you down to the river and Theatre Stratford-upon-Avon.Hotel Perfect for what we whated. Easy to park on site.you pay when you leave.via a ticket given at reception. We had a lovely newly refurbished room.very comfortable Slept very well, bed and pillows amazing Cotton bedding all made for a good night's sleep. Only thing would have been nice to have chest of drawers in room as all open plan.Breakfast plenty of choice. from cold to hot.all self service once shown to your table.Dining room overlooks the canal with some outdoor seating for those warm sunny days.Staff above and beyond polite and helpful. Would we stay again Yes Rooms: Our Room clean and comfortable newly refurbished Very nice good lighting open plan hanging space would have been nice to have a set of drawers Nearby activities: Plenty within walking distance in Stratford town Walkability: Short walking distance to town or alittle a longer along the canal Noteworthy details: Some parking at hotel. Room was clean, bed comfortable, heating didn't work and couldn't get WiFi. Breakfast vegetarian option, not good as the v sausages were brought to the table when we had finished... Just cook some anyway, plenty of vegetarians about! However, would stay again.Rooms: 3/5
Stayed here in a Premier Plus room twice. Car parking is limited, but I never had trouble finding a space - I do think it’s a cheek you have to pay to park here as a hotel guest, though. Room was clean and tidy, with good facilities for the price. On both occasions, the only toiletries provided were shower gel and hand wash. In the normal Premier Inn rooms, the shower gel is one you can use on your hair, but not in the Premier Plus rooms. Self-service check-in is a welcome addition. Breakfast is supposed to be served from 6:30am on weekdays excluding Bank Holidays, but on my second visit I came down at 6:40am and there was no one present - they delayed service for some reason. Overall, however, a good budget hotel.
We were greeted warmly by Owen, who was lovely and very friendly. Rooms had been refurbished and were great. Love this hotel for location, as only a 10-minute walk into town. The only slight issue was the attitude of the Deputy Restaurant Manager who was as rude and unwelcoming this year as she was last year!Rooms: 5/5
Stayed over the new year and had a really nice stay. The room we had was recently refurbished with an awesome super king size bed and a rainfall walk in shower. My only gripe is the rooms are way too warm and the window cannot be opened. Nearby activities: Stratford is an amazing place to explore with so much history. Great pubs, cafes and restaurants are found everywhere.
Perfect but internet industrial part of Stratford don’t expect a great view. Easy walking distance to the main town. Rooms: Great rooms.
A very nice spacious room everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was up to Premier's usual standard. Particularly pleased as it was half the price of the one in the centre of town. We stayed in the other one last year, it looked a bit tired and access was weird with lots of ups and downs.Hotel highlightsGreat value
Great Premier Inn, 2nd time we've stayed. A quick overnight when visiting family in Stratford. Nice welcome on arrival. We stayed in a refurbished room, which was nice, as always with Premier Inn comfy beds. Good breakfast.Rooms: 4/5
Sent photos to Premier Inn but no response - stayed earlier this week for one night. Weird smell from pillows and sheets, used wash stuff in bathroom and ended up with an intense reaction. Have been on anti-allergy medication since checking out to stop scratching, body covered in red scratches rashes after check out. Shame as lovely location and nice room, but clearly was not cleaned properly night before due to smell, and I've now caught something. No response from business.
Being using this premier inn since it opened. Not had a bad stay yet. Arrived on 23rd Dec and met by Owen on reception and gave us a great room that had just been refurbed. He was very helpful and obliging during our stay over Xmas and went out of his way for us. Small issue with TV but reception came up and sorted straight away. The team at this premier are a credit to the chain. Will be back next Xmas and new year. Phil Waterhouse. Rooms: Clean and comfortable as usual Nearby activities: Pubs and restaurants in town.
