I have to send parcels to customers, so I use post offices frequently. I hate to go to any city centre's post office, thus I like to go this post office as it is our local post office. But their post office service is frequently closed, and they hardly say the reason. Even the Post Office organization does not care if any branch has issues.
Can’t believe how rude the staff are here. I was returning 4 parcels which seemed to annoy the server. I pointed out that this was a Post Office and the parcel drop off point is a service that they advertise for customers to use. He rudely told me “this is shopping, it isn’t post”. He also made a comment saying that “paying customers come first”. If they grudge people using the free services that the post office offers then they should just be a grocery store instead.
Utterly rude man behind the counter who refused to accept a parcel as he insisted that the postcode did not exist. The postcode obviously does exist and a phone call was made to verify this fact. However the troll continued to refuse to accept it, saying "I don't know what to tell you" and muttering about having to manually enter it into some system. Surely if the postcode is correct you just accept the parcel? He then rudely moved on to the next customer. Terrible customer service. Avoid.
Yes - this post office is often closed during the advertised "opening hours" - avoid if you don't wish to have your time wasted.
Rude Post Master in Lenzie Post Office. Tried to send parcel to America, and he gave me the wrong customs form. I explained that this was not the same form that I got when sending previous items to America from Kirkintilloch Post Office. He replied saying "If you're not confident that it's the right form, then go to Kirkintilloch Post Office". That's what I did. When I explained what happened at Lenzie to the folks at Kirkintilloch Post Office they agreed with me and confirmed that the customs form he gave was an older version and no longer used by Royal Mail. Would not recommend using Lenzie Post Office - the ladies at Kirkintilloch are much more pleasant and helpful.
Terrible post office! Post office is supposed to open at 9am, went in at at 9am and was told the post office part of the shop wasn't opening till 9.30am. 2 staff behind the small counter and definitely not socially distancing and no masks on and not doing any work so they could've taken my business but instead I gave £32 to another shop. Really bad smell of cigarette smoke as you go into the shop too, best avoided!
I have never come across a more objectionable shop keeper/post office person in my life. Rude is an understatement.. Refused to take a return item on a qr code and spoke at me like an idiot. Avoid this wallopers shop/rubbish post office at all costs. I will be contacting royal mail about his attitude.
Their opening hours on the post office website state they open 8:30am - 7pm during the week. I went there during the week at 5:05pm and they said the post office is closed. Looking at the rest of the reviews, I'm flabbergasted the the Post Office gave this shop a branch.
Refused to take a return item. Accent made it difficult to understand the answer to my question ie. Would other local post offices be able to accept it.
