We have tended to park in town and walk or bus down (and up) the hill. Tried this last year and were really impressed. Train hugs the coast so the occasional breathtaking view, and arrives a short walk from town centre.

Lovely station and very friendly staff. Those leaving negative reviews here are in relation to the car park NOT the station. For the record the car park is NOT owned, operated or controlled by great western railway. It is operated by Cornwall council. Those complaining of busy car park, it's simple... arrive EARLY in peak season. We did (10am) and it was a breeze. £2.80 to park and £4 adult return, £2 child return under 5's free.

Brilliant little train station. Nice staff and convenient in terms of parking and easy access to the trains that arrive.
