Two platforms, no ticket office. There is a small shelter with no seats either side. One bench is available on the London bound platform. The information screen is missing on the Penzance side.nnPremier Inn Hayle is a 40 minute walk or there is a local bus. Be sure to check timings first!
Hayle train station has two platforms, either side of the tracks. Both platforms have a choice of steps shortest route or a ramp to give step free access.nnThere is a small station car park beside platform 1 Penzance direction, that appears to be free for rail users. Platform 2 East direction is under the bridge just below the station.nnEach platform has a small covered waiting area. There are no staff, nor any ticket machines. Presumably you buy in advance or on the train.nnThere are thirteen trains a day on weekdays in both directions, approximately five are London trains.nnIt is about two minutes walk to the town centre, down hill. There are local buses nearby, together with shops and places to eat.

I was passing through Hayle to Falmouth and was approached by a very strange man who introduced himself as Peter, slight limp, glasses.nnThis gentlemen kept insisting I accompany him to the toilets and made everything rather uncomfortable.nnNo train station attendants were around and judging on the looks this man was receiving from other passengers, this seems like it might be a regular thing at Hayle Train Station.
