This was our first point of call after our journey from Yorkshire for our holiday in this area. We arrived at 6.30pm and its free parking after 5pm. We parked up and walked down onto the beach. Go to the immediate left and that is the smallest incline to the beach. Further along it gets steeper. The tide was out when we arrived and walked along towards the right. The sand is soft with very few stones and is very wide to allow plenty of people to get a place to set up. The sunset was great. We had walked back up to the top by the carpark and sat on edge to watch the sunset. Looking forward to going during the day.
Beautiful spot if you want to enjoy a lunch or late diner al fresco with a view in your car! Free parking from 5 to 9pm! You can access the beach on the sides and it's so peaceful/beautiful! We enjoyed a beautiful Sunset last night
Found this by accident. Stayed here overnight not sure on the day price parking but after 6pm it's free, 5 pound overnight parking what the guy comes around and collects in the morning. Very quiet when we where there with short walk to 2 pubs and asda and a few other shops back down on the main road
Beautiful place but I bet is better to visit during the summer, it was a little bit windy but the beach is amazing.
the place is amazing, but it needs to improve the organization of parking. there is no food on site... only ice cream and beer.
£5 all day parking. There is a path that takes you down to the beach. I was able to take my loaded trolley.
Very bumpy access road and parking charges inflexible and excessive given non existent facilities. At these prices I would expect toilets at the very least.
Car park by the beach. Lots of places, but when the weather is beautiful, you can come earlier because it gets full quickly. Cheaply. £ 2.70 for 4 hours. The problem is there is no machine to pay. You have to pay with an application or a SMS Sometimes the internet is bad so you can't pay straight away. You have to try several times.
Only went here in the evenings to eat tea whilst watching the sun set over St Ives/Carbis Bay. Great views and handy to get down onto the beach. Quite steep steps and a bit dangerous near the edge of the carpark as there is a craggy drop off about 20ft above the beach so be careful.
Car park OK, have at last improved the lane making it easier to drive on. Easy access to beach. Dogs love it, just wish everyone would be more responsible and clean up when dogs do what dogs do.
