Lavender Lodge holiday cottage is clean, comfortable and spacious. Well equipped, with lots of extras including an electric awning on the rear patio. A quiet location but near to countryside and coast. A great place to stay for exploring Norfolk. Owner lovely and helpful.
This is the best CL I've visited. Beautifully maintained, stunning North Norfolk scenery and Annie the owner is lovely. A nice touch for a CL is that there is a water point for each pitch, which is great it you have the ability to directly connect, no water tank to fill during your stay. We have already booked to come back in a few weeks time and will definitely be making this one of our regular visits. During our first stay we were talking to a couple also staying there and this 2017 was their 13th year of visiting, which speaks volumes.
Fantastic CL for peace and quiet. Water and electric to each pitch, no WC etc on site but who needs it . . . . Use your van! There are of course grey and black waste disposal points. Annie, the owner, is so very welcoming and a lovely lady. I wouldn't hesitate to return if in the area.Location: 5/5
We stayed on their caravan site. Which was faultless. Small, only 5 pitches really well run and had every service needed. Anne was the hostess with the mostest, charming and helpful. Highly recommended.
Stayed at the CL certified location adjacent to the self-catering cottage. The CL was excellent, very friendly and welcoming owner, electric hook up and mains water on each of the five pitches. The owner very kindly allowed us to depart late on our last day so that we could pick up a new awning for our caravan without trailing it with us.
A much needed week away in a beautiful, clean, well equipped, cosy cottage. Annie Mrs Varley was there to welcome us and inside was a much appreciated welcome pack… milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, wine. Annie is a wonderful lady, very friendly and approachable and is always around if you need any help or fancy a chat. Our week was quite busy as we explored nature reserves, beaches, visited Sandringham amongst other things and it was always lovely to come back to the cottage to relax. The sofa and chairs were very comfy as were the beds. The scenery around the cottage is beautiful, the cottage garden itself is extremely pretty and it’s so very peaceful there. The surrounding villages are picturesque and there are some good shops and supermarkets 15 mins away by car. Nothing negative to say. Highly recommended.
Wonderful small site with 5 pitches Mrs Varley is an absolute star and keeps the site in tip top condition. Very reasonable prices and TV aerials available to borrow. Only downside is that Fox and Hounds is closed due to Covid but still nice walk to duck pond in village centre...... Next time we are in Norfolk, we will be back to Lavender Lodge.....
A really nice well kept caravan/campervan site. Good location away from the madding crowds. Very nice owner who provided an extensive list of local shops, places to eat etc. Will visit again and recommend it to anyone.Location: 5/5
Annie the lady that run the cottage and tour caravan is very helpfull have been here quite a lot only five places for touring caravans Dogs excepted and very peaceful to relaxService: 5/5
Excellent site. Mrs Varley is very kind and considerate, and goes out of her way to help you if you have any problems. Highly recommend the site and the friendly approach from the owner. From Jan & Neil.Rooms: 5/5
