Lovely restored Mill building in peaceful rural location with wildlife around (we saw deer, herons, birds of prey, a vole, many small birds - owls also around, another guest saw one). Clean comfortable rooms on top floor with good views. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Pub bar with good well priced restaurant menu selection. Dogs allowed. We had a great weekend, in easy distance of the excellent North Norfolk beaches. Thoroughly recommend

Absolute gem . The character of the hotel is overwhelming. The staff very friendly , travelling alone I felt very safe and at home . The food was very good quality. The room I had first was a double, very characteristic with original beams etc overlooking the weir, the second was a single and very quaint indeed , very cosy , everything I needed,. Overlooking the wonderful gardens at the back next to the river , overall I really enjoyed my business trip . Would highly recommend.

Do turn off the main road to find this place. Great pub in the old mill building. Cosy rooms and sofas by the fire. Sit outside in summer

Had the most delicious mussels at lunchtime. New owner Ian along with the rest of the longstanding team are fabulous! Very warm welcome and perfect place to relax after a long beach walk :)

All very nice and well looked after. Food excellent. Only one slight criticism, think there could have been a larger choice on the menu.
