We were greeted with a friendly professional hostess who was polite, very thorough and helpful and attentive. The food was exquisite and brilliantly prepared, with personal interaction from the chef, who even saw us out, shook our hands wished us well and hoped we would come back soon! I would definitely recommend this quaint little place if you are looking for excellent food, atmosphere and reasonable prices, this is the place to go!

Awful . The food was mediocre to say the least, fillet steak was in 3 pieces each cooked differently, the guy who owns it is genuinely a pig . Never have I felt so unwelcome in a restaurant barely anyone in there on a friday night and I could see why . The only nice thing I had was the oysters hats off for opening them .. perhaps in future you should show you're customers a bit more respect that or just stay in the kitchen as youre obviously not a "people person" . How this place is still open il never know . Nice oysters though 😂

I visited this restaurant 7 years ago and I've been meaning to leave a review since then. The proprietor was rude and unwelcoming. We popped in mid week and we were the only couple in there. We hadn't anticipated the menu prices and only wanted to stop for a quick bite to eat. Instead of faking an urgent phone call and leaving in a hurry we decided to take the honest approach by complementing the owner on the wine, saying what a great reputation the place had and said we'd like to pay for our drinks and come back on a more special occasion when we could enjoy the seafood and justify the price. The owner rudely ushered us to the door and handed us our coats as soon as we paid for our drinks. In the unlikely event that the owner takes the time to read this feedback may I suggest a customer services/anger management course might be a worthy investment. Given that just like the Saturday night reviewer, we were the only people in there. The conclusion I draw from this is no matter how nice the food might be this is the type of place you only visit once.
