Probably my go to restaurant in Norwich when I visit. I like the style, the food and the service. Lunch is two or three courses. There's a set lunch, no choice and excellent value, and an "A la Carte" essentially, a choice of three items for two or three courses. There's also 6 and 8 course tasting menues. Adam selects the wine pairing and is superb at describing and educating. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Sometimes the kitchen staff bring your plate from below which is a nice touch. Spotted the private room upstairs, The Sewing Room ideal for that special occasion

We had the private room again at Benedict's and went for the set menu instead of the taster on this occasion. Have to be honest I preferred it! We treated ourselves to a wine paired meal and the staff were incredibly helpful and courteous and the food delicious. Two criticisms, albeit minor. 1. Not child friendly at all. No high chairs or convenient changing area 2. The private dining room is gorgeous, however rather annoying that the office is located right next to it, resulting in a lot of staff going to and fro and disturbing the dining experience a tad bit. Apart from that another successful visit and will probably return sooner rather than later.

What a fantastic night. Every course was a joy to eat fantastic staff with all the knowledge of all the dishes and wine to match. Food cooked to perfection and the cheese board out of this world can't wait to come back thank you Richard and Adam and all your staff keep up the good work.

We had a wonderful post Valentines day lunch. Took my wife and my son, 9, who is a complete foodie already! We all enjoyed the food, service and extremely pleasant staff. Highly recommended.

Amazing food ! I loved this place ! Every time it s a new good surprise ! The taste of food is incredibly good ... I can't wait to go back there and advise anyone to go there ! The waiters and waitresses are very very nice ...
