Sensational morning at Lakemore. Having never been before I went with my wife and 2 year old daughter. They have an excellent play area upon arrival surrounded by donkeys, goats and rabbits. It began to rain but no worries, they had an indoor play barn with lots to do including a large sand pit. There were plenty of animals to see and feed should you want to purchase some. The cafe is reasonably priced and the ladies working there were very polite and great with our daughter. They even ran some activities for the older children that were there too. The walk is the right distance for young children, the animals are in relatively close proximity so you are not just staring at fields waiting for the next animals to appear. Whilst you go round there are little slides or swings to keep the little ones on side and even a mini golf 9 hole course which you can use for the price. £7 for the 3 of us and a good 2/3 hours spent there. We will absolutely be back. Thanks for having us!!
Wonderful experience at the farm, lovely place to go with kids to enjoy farm animals whilst playing in different play areas outdoor &indoor. Staff's actually pleasant & friendly. Got a nice cafe also. Would highly recommend.
Pretty appalled by the conditions of this farm park. The animal welfare seems to be non existent - ducks swimming in dirty water smelling of sewage, the poor llama with what looks to be a disease on its nose doesn’t seem to have much of an enclosure at all and whatever it’s standing in is overgrown weeds and tucked away in a sad corner. This place could be so much better but I’m Afraid I won’t be returning until it gets a face lift.. cafe and public toilets included.
A lovely place to bring small children. We invested in a 50p bag of animal food from the cafe and loved feeding the animals. Staff were very friendly.
Arranged my son's birthday party here. Staff is really good, they have got few animals and kids really enjoyed the tour with the lady and feeding animals. The soft play area can be improved a little bit but overall good experience
Nice place, mini golf was good, although very worn course. But all included in the price. Food was really nice but very limited menu. Overall a good day but 3 stars as it has the potential to be so much better
Lovely little farm for little people to play and explore. Wish it was open a bit longer as got caught out with the closing times! Playground: 2x play grounds Restrooms: Toilets on site Picnic area: Plenty of benches around
We had such a lovely day.. a small friendly farm with a outdoor play area, cute animals and mini golf, we even got to hug a baby goat.. we'll definitely be going back again!
Feel awful saying this but it was our first time here and unfortunately we were not impressed. The animals are lovely but some aminals example the white duck is in a very small cage which personally I do not like. The indoor area for infants is run down, none of the toys worked. Overall I think it is run down and needs basic improvements however I did see areas that look like they have been recently done but not many. We wouldn't return or recommend based on our experience.
A lovely little farm, with very friendly and helpful staff. Booking is currently required to limit the numbers, so it isn't too busy. Good social distancing procedures in place and plenty of sanitiser, although I recommend taking your own if you're feeding animals. £3 entry for 3+ and adults and you can get animal food for 50p a bag. Outdoor play area is open and being wiped down by staff. There's also crazy golf which is included in the entry. Indoor play barn currently closed, as is the cafe but there are food and snack available from the outdoor hatch. Great for little ones. We've been before and we'll be going back again. Always a good few hours out.
