Quiet and peaceful and owner very nice BUT... overhanging trees and bushes scraping caravan on lane to site. Shower block needs demolished before it falls down. Overpowering damp smell from showers and partition walls falling apart. No pot washing station. Site either needs shut down as facilities unacceptable or it needs to be completely renovated
Absolutely beautiful, tranquil spot that provided us with a welcome stop on our journey home. All facilities good, and a glorious sunset through the trees thrown in for free! Idyllic! We will certainly use this site again - it’s ideal.
Really liked going to this place. Found it peaceful but basic. Shame about the neglected fishing lake. All overgrown. We tried to book a stay there in February but was told it had closed down for good. Not sure what has happened there, but will miss it for a sort break away not to far away from us
Overall very enjoyable stay. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Very clean and well maintained. It would benefit from a children's play area or maybe some grassed area in the centre. Bug spray is a must but I would stay again!
Little campsite in a little wood with a view of jodrell bank over the fields. Spacious pitches with privacy hedging. Hard standing electric hook up pitches. A little bit muddy underfoot in April as it's under trees. Red Lion pub 0.7 miles away.
Stayed on site for 8 weeks, very friendly owners, very nice woodland location, beautiful and quiet. Great for dogs and woodland walks, easy access to Holmes Chapel or Macclesfield. This site has great potential.
Nice and quiet through the week. Facilities could do with updating, but showers etc. clean and usable. Friendly cows in entrance field.
Advertised as caravan park but disappointed as it was very basic. Pitches were in between the trees although there were electric hookups . access was through a field of cows and difficult to decide whether you're in the right place.
This is a lovely little caravan site, friendly owners,very peaceful.Miss visiting this place .
Nice quiet spot, basic provisions but clean and accssible.
