Really disappointing site, nothing like the photos on their website. Pitch was absolutely tiny, not even 6ft between caravans, would not have been able to pitch my awning if I had needed to or park my car next to my caravan. Electric hook up plug was a long way from my pitch and meant my lead was infront of the pitches of other caravans fortunately the pitch I had been shoe horned into was surrounded by unoccupied seasonal caravans. Could not find the dog walk, there were no sign posts, neither was I given any information about the site by the warden. Lots and lots of traffic noise from what I can only assume is the nearby M6. Not peaceful in the slightest. I can't help but feel like I have been mugged for the really high nightly pitch price. Won't be returning.
Nice site, tourers are a bit of an aside to the main statics, toilets clean and spacious, seems plenty cubicles. Very reasonable prices. Some aircraft noise as close to airport. Great place to stop will definitely be on my list of repeat visiting sites. Friendly site manager, very helpful. Nice walk/cycle ride out of the site down to and around the fishing lakes. Lots of wildlife to see including geese, squirrels and herons.
Great place first time there 2 week ago and warden, manager great bloke always willing to help if needed ...back there today in same spot for the weekend
Very peaceful and relaxing, friendly people and close to the 3 greyhounds excellent pub and food pet friendly nice big beer garden only 2.5 miles Holmes chapel with shops pubs and is a nice walk round.
love it that much practically live there
Beautifully kept, maybe the bin area could be better, but the homes & grounds & indeed ground rules are all second to none. Lovely retreat
Stopover to break the journey, mainly statics and an area with barriers clearly for seasonal tourers. A clean site and a few pitches on hard grassy area, tap close by and bins too, the toilets and showers are close and require a code for entry which is a bit of a nuisance. Old fashioned but clean, separate washrooms but no doors on them!
