A group of 6 of us went for dinner and had the tasting menu. The staff were very friendly and were the utmost professionals - someone in the group had a dairy intolerance and every course, the staff knew this and explained the slight variation to the meal on this basis. They were incredibly accommodating of this. The food was cooked to perfection - each course was done perfectly and tasted amazing. The portion sizes were very small, as expected for a fine dining experience. The price of the menu also matched this fine dining experience but only served to make the portion sizes stand out more as particularly small for the price being paid. Having said that, the restaurant is definitely worth a visit at least once to experience the incredible cooking and very well run establishment. I would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
Awesome anniversary dinner! Surprised how kid friendly they were. My 5 year old loved it. Food was yummy. The menu is limited but enough for us to try different things. This restaurant lives up to its Michelin star!
Lovely birthday dinner enjoyed here once again. Lovely extra effort made for my special night by staff which was greatly appreciated! Just missing the usual 5 star rating on this occasion compared with prior visits, may well have been my matching the menu to my own taste on the night. Looking forward to a return visit!
Fantastic food, very nice staff, relaxing enrvironment. Highly recommended!!!
Fantastic food that you will not forget for a long time. Relaxing environment. Very attentive service. No problem going with a group. Highly recommended fine dining experience
Derry Clarke Lords and Ladles fame owns and runs this amazing restaurant. The photo is of the Poached Lobster from their tasting menu. An incredible Michelin star outfit and team. If this helped or you like this review, please give it a thumbs up. Thanks
Everything about this experience was spot on. Service level high and attention to detail perfect without being stuffy -- in fact quite fun. Owner Maryanne was a delight and informative table side too. Truffle risotto and kika deer were on point.
Great service, lovely selection of food, nice wines.
I visited this restaurant in 2008 and it still stands out in my mind as the most pleasant culinary experience I've had to date. Everything was on point and I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, lasting impressions, unforgettable memories.
Excellent experience. Expensive but the tasting menu was brilliant.
