The Cliff Townhouse
"Cliff Townhouse Restaurant is a popular haunt for Dubliners dropping in for a relaxed lunch, or a dozen oysters and a glass of Champagne on their way to the theatre. The city’s business community also rely on the privacy of our intimate dining space.Serving brilliantly executed Dublin classics, the Cliff Townhouse restaurant menus are equally suited to a three-course celebration or a light bite in the middle of the day. Staples include Seafood platters, selection of Oysters and Caviar, various market fish and Irish meat."

We have been come here 3 times, food in there is nice every time. Very pleasant with service and dishes.
We went for an anniversary dinner. The food was incredible and the service outstanding. They were very accommodating. For the quality, the price was very reasonable. I'd definitely come here again.
Easily one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. Cliff Townhouse is beautiful from the inside out, has amazing service from the staff, incredible food in the restaurant downstairs, and is all around a lovely place to stay! We had a top floor park view with a plush king bed. We didn't want to leave because it was so dreamy! I hope to go back and stay there again. Highly recommend for solo travelers, groups of friends and couples!
Great food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Perfect for a romantic meal or with a group
Gorgeous little place in Dublin , the seafood was amazing , they have very cute events spaces if your interested in hiring and the Guinness bread is one of the best breads I have started in my life.
Excellent seafood meal in Dublin. Staff was professional and attentive. Loved the simple yet elegant decor inside. I would definitely recommend this place as a date night type of restaurant. It's a little more expensive than other restaurants, but what you're paying for is professional staff, very fresh ingredients, and perfectly executed technique. We started with the seafood platter. My wife had the sole, I had the lobster, and my mother in law had the cod. All were prepared perfectly and tasted great. The flavors weren't too strong to mask the fish itself. Instead, the flavors they combined enhanced the natural flavor of the seafood.
Excellent location for a business launch. Staff and bar excellent . Canapes top class. Facility is contemporary and well decorated with period elements from original grand house. Bars and function rooms have plenty of space and close for afters to all the good things around Stephens Green area
Unfortunately this wasn't the special night I had planned for my wife. There was major renovation work going on which I was not told about until check in. If I had been told I would have rescheduled. We were put in room 210 and we had to wade through a building site to get to it. We were told the noise would stop at 5pm but it was closer to 7pm before drilling, grinding banging stopped. When we got into our room none of the sockets had power which in turn meant the heating hadn't been on for quite some time and the room was freezing. It took quite a while to warm the room up to a comfortable temperature. The emergency door right beside our room had no lock and it kept banging open in the night. I was woken 3 times and on each occasion I had to go to the door to try to wedge it closed. The work started up again at about 8.30 the next morning. When we arrived back to the hotel after a meal at about 10.30 we waited downstairs at the bar to get a drink. After about a 15 minute wait without anyone about to serve us I went to reception to let them know we were waiting to be served. We were told the bar was closed and we could go down to Dawson Street where there was plenty of places we could have a drink. We ended up going into the Shelbourne hotel next door. The next day I spoke to your managerNina and expressed my disappointment. She was apologetic and gave me a goodwill gesture of €40 refund. While I appreciate the gesture I feel it does not make amends for a night that was spoiled when a simple phone call to me in advance to tell me about the rebuilding work would have let me reschedule the date for a couple of weeks till the work was finished. I did say all this to the hotel in the survey they sent me but nobody got in touch with me to discuss it which is a pity.
Amazing breakfast, top class service from David. Beautiful building overlooking the green
I was invited to try the Afternoon Sea a seafood fest and it was DELICIOUS!
