The stuff was very attentive and working like bees to make sure we have everything. The food was simply good. I forgot I am vegetarian that night and I am glad for that, because the t-bone steak was delicious. Fried scampi were good too. The only thing I wasn’t sure about was mushroom soup starter, the taste wasn’t strong as I expected it to be. Sides such as fries and green beans were perfect and plenty. Wine was good and went well with the food I forgot what bottles we had.
Pricey but worthy! I was at Peploe’s after a business meeting and the food was delicious. The best quality in Dublin so far together with Host. Really cozy place, nice atmosphere, a bit noisy but the dishes were fabulous. Good presentation and great flavour. Staff was polite and friendly. Wine list was also very decent. The crème brûlée was brutally good. Thanks so much.
The restaurant was really amazing. The atmosphere was great, staff were all very lovely and was always checking we were okay. The food was very lovely and the portions were very generous, would definitely recommend and will revisit.
A great place for a special occasion. Staff were very friendly at all times no matter how busy it gets. Onion salad wasnt too good though but the rest is delicious. The ribeye is a must order, though it came with french fries instead of mashed potatoes. Very central near Stephen's Green so you can grab a drink elsewhere afterwards.
Our experience was mixed. We didn't order starters as decided we wanted to go with a main and desserts. 2 courses are €40.50 with a €5 supplement for the steak. I ordered the steak medium well. It came with a stuffed porcini mushroom and pomme frites. The steak was nice but a bit grizzly and tough. I recommend ordering the potatoes instead of the pomme frites and a portion of vegetables as none come with the steak. The dessert was by far the highlight. Our sincere compliments to the dessert chef. We ordered the chocolate fondant and the creme brulee accompanied by the flirtini and a salted caramel espresso martini which has a rum base. Highly recommend.
Great food, good quality and value for money Food: 5/5
Food was glorious - Venison was A1 ; lovely spot for a celebratory meal. Staff very pleasant.Food: 5/5
Still my favourite place in Dublin. Cannot fault it. Service is flawless. Food is highest quality.Food: 5/5
Lovely meal! Just be prepared for the "Still or Sparkling?" question. That cunning or greedy false dichotomy, to which the only environmental and economically sound response should be "Tap, is fine, assuming that is what the Chef cooks with?". The €5.80 per bottle leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste to an otherwise very enjoyable dining experience.
Pan-fried veal kidney starter: dreamily gorgeous. The sauce Robert with wholegrain mustard was immense. Chicken milanese: first time ever I've found capers to really complement a dish. The accompanying duck fat roasted potatoes were absolutely to my liking but some might find them a little too firm. Dessert: didn't partake. Overall: love the atmosphere and the buzz. There are multiple restaurants elsewhere in the city though that are as good for better value. And are still top spots 'to be seen in'. Great restaurant to have in the city though, it really is a nice place to enjoy good company.
