It should be called the smallest restaurant! it is a tiny place not for the claustrophobic! But it made up for size in terms of excellent service and fantastic food. Good wine selection. Range of foods and specials for the evening. Slightly pricey but overall worth it. Party of 3 all delighted with dinner. Interesting art on the walls.
What a lovely, absolutely lovely restaurant. The owner was phenomenal. The restaurant is small and cute. The food. Beyond delightful. It was seriously some of the best food I have had in years. Everything was cooked to perfection, the flavors, the textures and plating was superb. When I go back to Ireland, I will be making a stop here again. Any friends or family going to the area, I will never not recommend them. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
This place was very cozy and food served pretty efficiently. The staff was friendly and food good! The menu is not extensive but it does have some gems. For a starter, main course, a glass of wine and a shared dessert I paid 45 euro!
We had a family get together: 8 people. The food was amazing. It was the early bird menu: 3 courses. I had the surf n turf starter, Lamb for the main course and Black forest moose for desert. Every serving was delicious. The wine was fantastic and recommended by the owner. Service was overall good, however, not all courses were produced at the same time, we had some finished and others starting. Atmosphere is good in general: The room is very warm and there is no fan. Booking your table is a must. Dietary restrictions: Full Gluten free menu and amazing.
So good that I came here twice during a one week stay in Dublin. Everything was excellent, but the chicken was my favorite - so juicy and flavorful! The early bird special is a great value as well.
Fabulous little restaurant! We came here for lunch on a Friday, it was very busy so we booked in advance. They offer a brunch and lunch menu with options to suit everyone. The manager who runs it is very nice and we will definitely return in the evening. The Cajun chicken quesadillas were delicious as was the egg and bacon on sourdough.
Feminine themed portraits and paintings of well known figures on the wall, including Marilyn Monroe. A small busy neighborhood restaurant, cozy and friendly atmosphere, great service and good food. The prices were moderate. We ordered: 3*Soup of the day: celeriac soup was light and good. 5*Tiger Prawn Risotto-Chilli, Roasted Red Peppers Soft Herbs and Parmesan: generous portion with lots of prawns. Fresh and tasty. 3*Chargrilled Pork Chop on the Bone-Hasselback New Baby Potatoes, Braised Savoy Cabbage, Leek and Mustard Sauce: very good gravy. Portion was big. Cabbage was tasty. Good food but nothing fancy. 3*Rump of Lamb-Dauphinoise Potatoes, Broccoli, Parsnip Puree, Charred Baby Leek, Red Wine Jus: per normal. I would order it again, but nothing special. 4*Black Forest Chocolate Mousse, Honeycomb, Chantilly Cream: pretty good. 4*Selection of Irish Cheeses, Crackers, Chutney Grapes and Apples: liked the arrangement.
The little kitchen is this very small restaurant in a very quiet side of Dublin. The place is very cosy and decorated neatly and simply. The staff is very, polite, friendly and they take good care of their customers. I had the Butternut squash and sweet potatoes soup for starter. It was a good portion and very good full of flavor and aromas. For mains I had the chicken supreme with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Chicken was cooked to perfection and just melts in your mouth. Again very good flavors and aromas. For desert I had the creme brulee. Made to perfection with that thinly crusty crust that crackles when you dig your spoon. Sadly didn't take any photos of the other dishes. Food looked too good to waste time. Make sure to book beforehand as it was full. Service 10/10. My dishes didn't take time at all and it was a very fluent and satisfying dining experience. Big well done to the staff and keep it up!
The food was excellent, the ambiance was great and our party of six could hear each other. The prawn risotto is a spectacular starter. The hake and mussel bouillabaisse was well prepared, fresh and well spiced. Great value.
Ate dinner here in our last night in Dublin. The menu is simple, the portions are generous, the prices reasonable. Our meals were delicious; pork chop, spare rib, and the chef's special, which was skate wing. Arsen and his staff do a wonderful job. Reserve in advance, or you will wait outside, if you can even get in. Space is tight.
