Perfect place to stay right outside of Dublin! Rooms were great and the staff here is incredibly attentive. Nikola went out of his way to help my husband and I find great local bars with trad music. If you're looking for a place to stay The Address City West is the perfect choice!Rooms: 5/5
A great location for working at Profile Park: less than a mile yes, I know Ireland work in the metric system from the project I'm working on. Friendly staff and they have McGettigans Steakhouse right next door, as their support for breakfast and evening meals. The food was excellent and so was the service. Food & drinks: Good service and food.
I have stayed here several times for work. Check-In was brilliant. Room was good. I had dinner in the restaurant, however the food was served on a cold plate. The food was nice, however its a basic procedure to serve food on a hot plate. Next morning, again cold plates left for breakfast. The bread had dried out and gone hard as it was left out for a very long period of time. Overall a good hotel, they just need to get the basics right.
This hotel was booked for me by a company I was working with whilst in Dublin. My room was not in very good condition, on walking in the toilet was on constant flush, the room was in a very worn state. I was not informed of the WiFi login details, tried phoning reception from the in room phone on 3 occasions without any answer, so at to go back to reception. I had dinner in the adjoining restaurant, which was excellent. Unfortunately throughout the night it was noisy from rooms above, as I had a ground floor room, people walking about above disturbed my sleep, therefore I’d request top floor rooms if you’re looking to stay. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30am, it was not until 7am until all hot food was out. I would not stay here again.
Nice hotel, staff very nice and friendly. Booked for buisness trip. Arrived late after 3 hour drive, they had no food to offer me not even a sandwich so I had to order a takeaway from just eat app, wifi was poor so issues with just eat app, took me an hour to make the order, by time food was delivered it was after midnight. Now the biggest shock, for the price you pay, you would expect a nice breakfast however be prepared for dissapointment. All processed foods, ORANGE JUICE PROCESSED, NOT FRESH, SOUR AND WARM, ONLY ONE FRUIT TO CHOOSE FROM, MELONS, BEANS WERE HARD COLD AND UNDERCOOKED, THEY WERE NOT EVEN COOKED, JUST THROWN INTO BAMBERIE, TOMATOES WERE TASTLESS OBVIOUSLY NOT RIPE, DISGUSTING, HAD THE URGE TO SPIT THEM OUT ONLY FOR I WAS IN A RESTAURANT, THEY WERE THAT BAD, MUSHROOMS WERE TASTELESS AND NOT SEASONED, whoever the chef is they haven't a clue how to COOK OR serve food definitely not tomatoes, only good chefs and people who love tomatoes will know what I mean by that, but overall a big dissapointment, Really CITY WEST... is it that hard to serve your guests a nice, fresh healthy breakfast, I think NOT, shame on management for allowing this to happen, very sloppy work. NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO EAT UNHEALTHY TAKEAWAY FOOD THE NIGHT BEFORE BUT ALSO CITY WESTS AWFUL PROCESSED BREAKFAST. I'll be lodging a complaint and requesting a full refund. Food & drinks: Awful processed breakfast, ORANGE JUICE WAS PROCESSED AND NOT FRESHLY SQUEEZED LIKE YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A HOTEL LIKE CITY WEST, IF ARRIVING LATE BRING A PACKED LUNCH BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER YOU TO EAT...SEE ABOVE FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT FOOD
Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant, staff were lovely really nice spot. Hotel was fine, very disappointed with the breakfast, was from same place we had the dinner so was expecting something nice, ordered full Irish from kitchen, it came out very quick so not freshly cooked, and it was cold so very disappointedRooms: 4/5
As part of the McGettigan group this is by far the best I have seen it operate since its days as The Kingswood CC. It has had a few names and operators since bit I think these guys have it right and it's quite similar in management style to The Mobtenotte in Cork, not as glamours a location but operational wise they have it en point, the food is great amd overall the rooms are good. Staff are lovely which is a clear sign of a good GM as it comes from the top especially in hospitality and a bad or even average manager can ruin a place so we'll done guys keep up the good work. My most recent visit was for our Christmas party amd they did an excellent job. Recommended
A friend of mine is staying here tonight for work purposes, she'd only got home from holidays and had to travel so she didn't arrive till 9.50pm. I rang ahead a few times to make sure she'd be able to get food and the gentleman that answered the phone on numerous occasions to me couldn't have been more helpful he ordered her food and had it waiting for her on arrival she hasn't even checked in yet are there going above and beyond well done to all the staff and management I'll definitely be booking this place for myself Rooms: So spacious and very modern Food & drinks: Amazing
Stayed on business trip because it was relatively close to the office. It’s about 30 minutes out of Dublin City centre and you’ll need to use a taxi to get there. Cost $35-45 each way. The staff were friendly. The place is clean and tidy but the rooms are nothing special. The bathrooms need updating. Breakfast is in the restaurant next door. Rooms: The room was very spacious and clean but the bathroom has a dated feel to it. Food & drinks: Breakfast - in McGettigan’s next door - is buffet-style with a selection of fruit juices, cereals, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, toast and Irish cooked breakfast. There’s no room service. Noteworthy details: No air conditioning in the rooms and windows open only a small amount, so ventilation is not great.
An excellent, modern hotel with a high standard. The cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of service deserve the highest praise. I definitely recommend it.Rooms: 5/5
