Stayed in the Green Isle last night with my husband. Our room was amazing on the top floor with a balcony overlooking part of Dublin. A huge 4 poster bed and a very spacious ,clean and warm room. The food in the restaurant was really delicious, piping hot and great value for money. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and professional in every way. We will most definately be returning.

Clean nice hotel. Good food. Weird hours for the gym and pool. Seemed like the staff just wanted to use it themselves so they would say it closes at such and such a time and then not let you in even though there would be an hour and a half left. Then you would walk by and see the guy who was sitting at the desk in the gym lifting after the gym was 'closed'. Really it should be a 24 hour access for people who are paying to stay.

The facilities at the hotel are very good, with a gym and swimming pool. The bistro has carvery dinners daily and a nice set menu. Breakfast is buffet style with large selection of foods. The rooms are understated and plain, clean but some could do with refurbishment. The rooms facing the N7 road are quite noisy at night with constant traffic noise making it hard to sleep, sound deadening would be beneficial here. The rooms facing the rear of the hotel are quiet though.

Usually, I don't bother moaning about small details but this time, that was really not a nice stay. We came in mainly because of the pictures displayed online, that are definitely not reality. No AC in the hot weather, only option was to leave the door of the balcony open. This balcony was not private so anybody could enter at anytime... The shower was unstable, going from cold to extremely hot in the minute. The swimming pool was nothing like displayed... We paid way too much for the quality we received.

Really nice hotel, feels like a home away from home. The staff are really helpful. Being a disabled customer they had no problem helping me by getting a member of staff carry me evening meal to my room. Highly recommended!
