Price much cheaper the in centre of Dublin, but disappointed with overall standard of decor. Beds fresh & clean. Bathroom - clean. Carpet not so, with stains. Room smelled and there was a skip outside the window which did not help. Someone knocked way before the time we were to check out. Reception staff polite & helpful. Did not stay for breakfast.
The ladies at the front desk are very kind, yet should have their discussions in the back. The room was an awkward mix between new and old parts. First the good: The bed and towels were clean and comfortable and attended everyday. The connections to the city are good, as Luas and bus stops are less than 10 min walk away. There is also a big, free parking lot and the noise of the highway intersection is minimal. However, a lot of work needs to be done.. All towel hangers were loose, the bathroom ventilation barely works, the shower curtain needs to be exchanged and the bathroom walls, as well as the carpet flooring need to be renovated. The walls are painted in Latex paint which does not allow vor good ventilation and makes everything look shiny as if it's wet. The water boiler was missing and the lights are very dim. Too expensive for these conditions.
Worst Phone custumer service ive encoutered in years, the person hung up on me. Apparently the hotel is closed atm, which is fine. But the lady on the Phone seemed bothered. If your hotel is indeed closed, record a vocal message and let people know instead of answering and being rude.Rooms: 1/5
I stayed at the Ibis recently, I found the staff lovely and in particular the Receptionist Liz, she was so kind, and helpful with everything that I needed to help my stay be more enjoyable. I found the staff's friendliness, lighted heartedness and jovial humour gave a very happy atmosphere to the hotel. All the residents were a pleasure to be amongst. The hotel was very quiet, the bed was very comfortable, I had two nights of fantastic sleep. Breakfast was filling and kept me going for many hours.
The IBIS in a good location for the team into Dublin. Normal corporate style rooms, the service at reception was very good. However it would have been nice if the IBIS identified on the booking site it was mainly helping the Ukrainian refugee, whick is not an issue but at €170 a night Rooms: 4/5
Fillty car park, overloaded bins. Dirty corridors. Once we opened the door we were completely disappointed. The room is too basic, dirty and stained carpets. The bathroom haven't been cleaned- hair in the sink, spots all over the toilet. Full of refugees, which i believe we should be informed of. The only thing is that the location is good, but I will never stay there again.
Basic room, basic hotel - but the price is a little higher than what it delivers. A huge number of refugees are currently residing in the hotel, which is not a problem, but the fact that they gather loudly outside and run up the corridors late at night was a bit of distraction to my sleeping plans. The catering options for dinner are limited in the remote location. The breakfast was reasonable so long as you like traditional cooked only.
Hotel needs updating. Tired decor, poor food options it’s a buffet not a restaurant by the way, drink options also limited. The staff try their hardest but it’s not worth the money to stay there. Rooms are very basic, stuffy with no A/C or desk fans. Wouldn’t stay here again.
