good vibe and friendly pub - does a great roast dinner on sundays with a set menu - didn’t manage to try the vegan wellington as they had run out, but the rest of the meal was lovely. really recommend the sticky toffee pudding!
Ate off of the 'fixed price menu' portion size fairly small. To be expected? Some of the staff are friendly, some are not. Eaten in other Ember Inns, the prices here are about a £1 higher on average on the menu.
Huge pub, very much geared-up for family meals. Lots of space and decent beer/wine selection. Meal prices are very reasonably for the area and portion sizes are good - so ideal if you’re feeding a family. For me, too many of the accompaniments are from the freezer - vegetables, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, etc. - but understandable if you’re serving this volume of covers at this price. I’d personally rather pay more for a family pub with fresher ingredients. But that’s not a criticism of The King William!
Enjoyable pub quiz after a good dinner. Shame the speaker wasnt loud enough for the music round, but didnt really matter. Dinner for all was good too, mixture of meals. Good atmosphere. Thank you
What a lovely place had family down for the weekend so booked a table here well so glad I did as the whole evening was lovely thay couldn't do enough for us we had a three course dinner all mouth watering the staff was so friendly and helpful really recommend this place
Really nice pub with a good choice of beers. Enjoy going here More of a restaurant than a place to watch football. Parking isn't great with limited space if the pub is busy.
Regularly visit this pub sometimes twice a week with family and friends. Very good pub. Great food. Great drink.
Can't fault it really, just had a quick bite and as expected for breaded mushrooms and wings. Asked for sauce on the side got a massive pot! Was served by a friendly efficient staff member. Good visit.
Food are good portion and nicely cooked. Clean table and good service.
Lovely, clean, bright pub. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't eat but the food I saw looked good. It was well booked out however I noticed that staff kept trying to accommodate groups that hadn't booked. I will coke Back again and eat. Looks like they have different beers at regular intervals too.
