I have not been to a Harvesters for over 10 years. More of a nostalgia visit whilsit away for work. The menu has certainly been improved since my last visit with a very large selection and variety. Had to start with the world famous salad cart followed by the 1983 Combine Harvester. Wow the food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly indeed. Will 100% be coming back soon!!
We were welcomed quickly and seated. Food tasted good. Service was good, staff polite. I would recommend this place to eat, only thing was the time of night we came it didn’t have any White rolls for the salad and some salad bar items were limited. However very understanding that it is a Sunday and late at night so it’s fine. Very good.
Admittedly we dined on a Monday night so it wasn't busy at all. So the atmosphere was quite, but on the flip side it meant you could have a good conversation at the dinner table. Food was good as was the service. Parking is available but I imagine this gets full quickly on busier days. Parking: Limited number of parking spaces, be careful when pulling into or out of the car park as it's a busy road on a junction. Wheelchair accessibility: It's all on one level with easy access
Always good service in this Harvester. Our visit yesterday was very noisy as we were put next to two big groups, however Katrina was excellent and very friendly and attentive. The only thing stopping it being 5 stars was the lack of salad, sauces and toppings on the salad bar. I guess this was due to it being in the evening but it would have hurt to fill them up a little. All we got were the scrapings at the end. Other than that though, the food was perfect!
Enjoyed a really good rib eyed steak. The family also had a great meal and the staff were lovely and helpful. Felt very festive and tastefully decorated. Will definitely be going back soon.Food: 5/5
We had really lovely meal at Harvester St Albans tonight.Food: 5/5
Thank you to our amazing server Marcie, had a wonderful Birthday meal and the server was really nice and the food was lovely as always. Thank you harvester team for being amazing as always and so accommodating. I had the nachos and the beef classic and both where really nice!Food: 5/5
Awful Santa breakfast! I ordered pancakes and fruit bowls for the children and a smoothie, a cappuccino and waffles with fruit for myself, all of it was just horrible, obviously microwaved and tough! I sent one lot of pancakes back to get more that were just as bad! One child actually left his. If it wasn’t for the Santa experience I would have left! Bringing me to mention Santa… sat there with his beard down replacing it as the children approached him! No cheery greeting, no Ho Ho Ho, no banter with the children at all in fact it was cringingly awkward! Thankfully the children are young and hopefully won’t loose the magic of Santa. I did explain to them that he was just a helper and NOT the real thing! We won’t be recommending this experience or returning.
Overpriced for what we actually had. %5.99 for 5 breaded small mushrooms was outrageous. The mixed grill ordered was dry and tasteless gir its price. The 3 chicken dishes were dry and half of it left. For a £92 bill for 4 was outrageous for what we had. Only hood thing was the salad bar
Service was fast. Food was good. Nice a clean presented restaurant. Food and drinks are well priced Staff was friendly and welcoming
