Well organised and very pleasant staff. Sadly no 'proper' beer. Had a good main but my Kentish apple and blackberry pie was well over reheated.
Very poor and over priced food, clearly taking advantage of tier 2 status, a real shame, used to be buzzy and good food
Great pub for watching football. Table service very good
Had good Easter Monday lunch here. Nice trad with modern twist pub with larg'ish courtyard garden which is usually fairly quiet. Service friendly & quick. Taking 1 star off as no gluten free beer.
This pub is tastefully decorated and is spacious. There is a great outdoor area at the back. Good selection of beers. Friendly staff too!
Just a bit lacking in character. Some great pubs in St Albans but this side does not seem to have a good one.
Although clean. Not very accommodating, not a pleasant atmosphere left after one
Nice selection of beer, friendly staff too
