Would not recommend! My dad and partner booked the honeymoon suite last year with several phone calls to confirm the booking was still in place They also requested if any rooms came available could they have it for their guests. To only cancel a few weeks before their wedding day. This caused a lot of upset, disappointment, anger and added stress to their wedding. Please avoid so it does not spoil anyone else’s wedding plans.
Came here for a Sunday lunch with my daughter, the food was exceptionally tasty, the portion sizes was massive far too much for us but if you have a large appetite you won't be left hungry. One little downside the green bean tasted like the frozen sort. 99.9 /100 we will be recommending this place to our friends.
We got married at Kedleston Country house last weekend and it was the most perfect, special day and we cannot express our thanks and gratitude enough to Sarita and the rest of the staff that were involved. They were all very welcoming and friendly and everything ran so smoothly right from the the very beginning of the planning. We have always been made to feel welcome and all the staff are so lovely! The venue is beautiful and cosy and we had compliments all day about it. The food was as always amazing and everyone was accommodated for. We used a few of the suppliers we had met through the venue to dress the venue etc and it all added to make our day even more perfect and we will cherish these memories forever. Thank you Charlotte and Dean
Googled states they’re open, checked the menu for food and then walked over an hour to be turned away due to a private event which wasn’t shared anywhere. Very disappointing and puts me off from visiting again. Walked to the joiners arms which was great and amazing service.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening last night at the Kedleston Country House's Burns Night. The staff were unfailingly attentive, professional and welcoming. The meal was delicious. Probably the best meal out we have had for some time. Each course was faultless. The large room where the event was held was warm, attractive and a delightful place in which to dine. We have been to The Kedleston on a number of occasions over the last couple of years and each time we have had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Last night was definitely no exception. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
We went today for a celebration breakfast. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Good quality produce, the cooked breakfast was amazing. They accommodated food allergies which is always a bonus. Space was a little tight but there were around 26 adults including a handful of children. The building itself is tastefully decorated. Parking was no issue. Staff were polite and helpful.
We got married at Kedleston Country House in September 2023 and had a really special day - the venue and grounds are beautiful and the food was lovely. The bar and serving staff were friendly, attentive and worked really hard. Our wedding coordinator Sarita was helpful, accommodating and really cares about the couples she works with. Thank you for making our wedding such an amazing and memorable day!
Had my 60th birthday party here a couple of weeks ago. It was fantastic. Such a fantastic rural location. The Orangery was a perfect setting for the party. The bedrooms are beautiful. The staff were really helpful and accomodated my special requests. The food was really good - including vegetarian, vegan & gluten free. We were given plenty of time to clear the room the next day. I cannot wait to visit again.
