I thought the hotel was a great location, and the staff extremely friendly. I did think the rooms were very basic for the price, and the beds were small. Having said that the room and bathroom were very clean. I also felt that there could have been more options for children on the breakfast menu.
The location was convenient. The room we were in was cosy and clean. The staff by the reception was friendly and they offered us the possibility for breakfast because we didn't book one in advance. Overall, great stay even for one night. The only recommendation we have is if possible to include hotel slippers for the guests for more convenience.
We loved the family room that we had, it was lovely. It was spotless & comfortable. The breakfast was delicious each morning, it was well presented & cooked perfectly. The only thing that I would suggest re breakfast, is that there is a kids offering, like pancakes & /or waffles as not all children will eat a fry or the other options available. I absolutely loved the passionfruit, mango & granola bowl, it was delicious.
My stay was truly wonderful at your Liverpool hotel. It was my 37th Birthday and I arrived to balloons, confetti, banners in the room and on the bed, and they did the same in my best friends room who were celebrating their wedding anniversary. Breakfast was beautiful. All staff were so lovely. Bed was a little firm for my liking, but everyone is different. All of the hotel is lovely. Thank you all so much for a great birthday weekend
Location was fantastic, perfect for everything we wanted to do. Our room was amazing, spacious & with the comfiest bed- I can’t remember the last time I slept all night! Check in was fast & the staff member on reception was really helpful. Lots of tea & milk too.
this place is great! stayed twice now and both times been spot on. rooms extremely clean and the price and location is really good. shower is amazing. easy checking in and checking out. pillows a little uncomfortable on the second stay and the heating could be turned down just a touch! woke up extremely hot but I guess it's better than it being freezing
All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Great service. Room was amazing. My special requests of high floor and view of the square were accommodated. Lovely quality toiletries. Great check out time of 12.
Stumbled across this little 'gem', whilst reviewing Liverpool Hotels. Well located for both the Port & the central zones of Liverpool. Staff~2 ladies on Reception were very accommodating throughout. Arrived early 1pm & staff very obliging in taking luggage into secure area~ 'Tagged' with name, until our room was made ready for 3pm. Also kindly said they would place our luggage in room for when we returned & it was. Room Floor 3 17 was lovely & spotlessly clean & smelt fresh & had everything you needed~ Tea/Coffee /Biscuits which you could top up when required @ Reception area. TV/Music WIFI/Hairdryer/Desk/Chair & Carpets were plush. Great shower in bathroom with toiletries provided Shampoo/Cleansing Gel. Bed was really comfortable & we had a great nights sleep after chasing our 'old haunts' on foot around Liverpool! Linen clean & fresh & lovely cushions, Curtains were also great quality & complimented the colour scheme. We were not troubled from noise from outside at all.... We had one niggle with the bathroom Linen Towels when I discovered my bath towel was marked in several places across the towel after I had dried my face with it! It had been laundered but evidently, it had not done its' job! I took it straight to Reception who immediately apologised & a replacement was put into the bathroom whilst we went out. All other Linen including towels were immaculate. Perhaps Housekeeping could just briefly look @ Towels 'going in' to prevent a further occurrence for other Guests. We didn't have breakfast@ the hotel, so I can't comment on the choice there. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel & I have no doubt that what is provided in terms of quality & value for money is far superior to many other more expensive hotels in central Liverpool. Thankyou for a lovely stay....from 2 Liver Birds, now in exile.... We'll be back! #FAB! *5 *
Unfortunately we were only there for 1 night. We would loved to have stayed longer but work commitments at this time prevented it. From the moment we entered the hotel we received a very warm welcome at check-in. Any staff we encountered from there on in were very polite, and couldn't do enough for their guests. The hotel Is beautiful it exceeded our expectations, the room is cosy, modern, the bed was so comfy with crisp white bedding and great pillows, flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. Heating and aircon. The bathroom omg! huge shower cubicle with constant hot water modern rain shower and regular head shower with great water pressure, complimentary shower/h gel and hand wash, and a heated towel rail. The room, bathroom and entire hotel is spotlessly clean. We had breakfast at the hotel and to be honest I was very disappointed with the bacon which is streaky bacon and seemed to have more fat than anything else, the consistency of the sausages were not to my liking, if there is anything I could see an improvement on would be the bacon, personally back bacon would be much better, the sausage maybe was ok for guests but not for me. Under no circumstances would this prevent me from returning to the hotel, it'll definitely be my No.1 go to for our next visit to Liverpool. Hotel is in a great spot very close to the main shopping area, Liverpool 1 shopping centre and the main bus station. Even closer to the Cavern. All in all a fantastic hotel.
Thought the whole place was great? Great breakfast and staff really nice and helpful. If I had one very small niggle the toilet pressure wasn’t great and took several flushes to get rid of contents
