John Minnis staff are typically very helpful, however we had a challenging experience dealing with the agent we were assigned. Unfortunately, her conduct was unprofessional and often rude. It appears she may be more accustomed to valuation work rather than direct client interaction, as what we perceive as lack of training and customer service skills was evident. Several instances during our communication left me feeling uncomfortable and actually upset, reaching a point where we no longer desired to proceed with the purchase of the house we had invested in. It was only after the agent ceased communication that the sale progressed smoothly and became significantly easier. We are thankful for our purchase and that the agent was part of making this happen. My main point is as buyers, you only wish to work with an effective and supportive team that listens when making such a large investment. And regrettably, this was not our entire experience.
Excellent service from Ross and the team at John Minnis when selling my house recently. I got great advice and everything went smoothly, much better than I had hoped. I also had a great experience when I rented the same house a few years before and would definitely use John Minnis again in future.
John Minnis Estate Agents dealt with the sale of my mother’s house. All stages of the sale were handled professionally and speedily. They were always available for advice and guidance. The house sold very quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others. Fantastic service.
Ross McKnight did an excellent job marketing my property and handling the whole sales process. I would definitely use Ross and John Minnis Estate Agents in the future.
We have used John Minnis twice now, for both buying and selling our property and I can’t recommend them enough. They are the best estate agents we have ever used! They were always very attentive to details and helpful to answer any queries we had throughout the process. We have dealt with Ross, Jilly and Heather and they were all amazing people and very professional. Always reassuring and positive when we encountered any bumps in the road. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy estate agente look no further! If we have any other properties in the future we’ll definitely be using them again.
Couldn't recommend John Minnis more highly and Ross McKnight of Ballyhackamore office in particular. Ross's professionalism and calm approach was so much appreciated, always willing to listen and gave great advice. Never once failed to respond to emails/calls etc. Literally the perfect experience which made a potentially very stressful event very smooth and stress free. It was a huge step for us to sell after over 16 years but Ross gave us the confidence to list our property, knowing there was no pressure and we are delighted with outcome and where we are now as a result. Thank you!
