Great local pub. Does quiz nights, good food, landlord/lady are friendly, has a welcoming atmosphere and shows all the sports you'd want. Also has a beer garden for those warmer days.
Brilliant pub with a fantastic community spirit. Food is fantastic, really can recommend it. Dave and Nikki are the perfect landlords, would always welcome you in the bar with a smile.
Popped in for a quick drink after a 3 hour noonish walk. Stayed for two, because the barman was so friendly. The music was pleasingly low-volume, too. Toilets clean. The pub is clean and pleasant to be in. Only downside for me and it might just be my phone network was the pub appears to be in a signal blackspot: couldn't get a signal at all near the front door. Fortunately, they have excellent free WiFi though they could do with making the password easily available, instead of having to ask the staff for it. Not a drama, though, and doesn't detract from it being a nice place for a drink and a relax.
Great local pub. We have watched Notts County in there a few times. Great atmosphere! Lovely food, very good value. We will be back.
