The GOLDEN PHOENIX. WE Phoned around 6 pm and was booked a table straight away we arrived and got seated. We was then asked to place our order straight away which all in all was a really good starter service. We then got our refreshments and then went to the buffet the range of food was endless cooked to perfection except the salt and pepper chips which to me was really soggy and the chow mien was disappointing the pudding selection varied and was great for the kids all in all for the price of £88 for a family of 6 was well worth the journey. The calm relaxing atmosphere and of course the great food.
We went Golden Pheonix last night for a meal and I have to say, it was absolutely amazing. Food was excellent and Buffet was so well presented. Better then any other all you can eat place I've been to. Staff was amazing, very friendly, polite and efficient. Premises was very clean and well managed. All in all an amazing place, Will definitely be going back. Thank you to the lady staff member that helped us at table 28a, places need more staff like you who smiles talks and generally seems to enjoy customers.
Really lovely place and food! It has been very busy on our arrival but we have been welcomed and seated almost immediately. Place is very well managed and clean. Great selection of food and atmosphere is really nice too! I would totally recommend this buffet to anyone!Food: 5/5
Food is great, could do with being warmer sometimes but it's kinda what you expect at a buffet place. Staff... definitely need some more training on people skills, we were shown to our table by a lady who just went "your over there" pointing in some direction... Didn't ask if we wanted a drink so we had to get up and go find someone and waited far too long to get the bill so again we had to find someone.
Great restaurant. Friendly efficient staff. Normally the food is well cooked but last time I attended the mussels were cold and very rubbery. But everything else was perfect. I’ll be attending again next week. Thank you. Parking: Great parking. Plenty of spaces
My husband and I went for a birthday meal here. Food was lovely and fresh. Will definitely return. Didn't give a 5 star as there is not a lot of parking and if you don't clear your plate before going for more you get charged extra.
Loved it, pleasant surroundings, and immaculately clean. Service with a smile, even tho it was really busy the food was rolling in, fresh, hot and an amazing selection. The cake section was great aswell. Definitely enough variety to please everyone. Will definitely recommend and cant wait to go back. Excellent value. Thank you for a great lunch
Tried this place as I've driven past a few times and looked OK, WOW was I wrong, the decor is that of a back street pub, the food is absolutely awful and made me feel sick, it seems to attract the lower class benefit people who let their scruff children run around the restaurant. AVOID!!!! I'm sure every other place is better than thos 1 trust me on that.
Nice food, clean, bit over priced especially with babies. Baby 1 year old so we gave food from our plate as does not eat much, given a few chips and a couple of chicken balls. But staff wanted to charge 12.99 for this, babies always want food off your plate. When we stated this charged us for high chair.Food: 5/5
I would give 0 stars but it’s not letting me. Food is soo bland you’d get more taste out of a rock. Customer service is rude. & they made me pay for a baby that doesn’t even eat a plate of food. I’d avoid if you got any taste buds.
