First time visiting this place and was impressed. Had a carvery which was delicious. The vegetables were nicely cooked. The place seemed clean and the staff were very helpful bringing the drinks to our table. Look forward to visiting again.
Nice pub just feel the way the buffet breakfast is done could be improved. Bar staff tell you kitchen know whats been ordered but then you wait 10 mins for toast as they only have a 2 slice toaster. Then have to wait for eggs and bacon to be cooked. Food was OK but not the best I've had if im honest
Very good place to have a dinner with friends. Neat and clean, lovely staff and great food as well. Enjoyed a lot.
Really enjoyed my burger and my hubby demolished his carvery.
Excellent food been three times now and each time I can't fault it. There is a Little waiting time for carvery as covid guidelines in place but the food is superb.
Service brill very nice people made very welcome so went back next day.food cooked well.lots of room.safe.
We had a lovely warm welcome again the landlady is very nice, the staff are very friendly we all enjoyed a few cold scoops then we all had fantastic food 10/10 we will be back again
Very well organised for covid guidelines, lovely friendly staff, pub has lovely garden and children's play area. Homely welcome, clean toilets. The menu was limited but very nice and affordable. The carvery was delicious and mum loved the trifle... but it needed a little sherry!
I have visited the Shephard’s multiples times over the last 10 years, breakfast with friends, birthday meals with the whole family and for the odd drink in the garden but after how I was spoken to and made to feel by a male staff member which I assume is the manager over the weekend I will definitely not be returning again
