What an incredible venue for a concert! This was my first time attending here. Very well organised, friendly staff and security, and regular free water provided while at the barricade. Sound was also fantastic. All around an amazing live concert experience.nnThe building itself was also so interesting! I'd love to come back some other time for other events. Or even just to get a tour around the building when there are no events to learn some of its history.nnUnlike some other, larger venues, they also seemed to have a generous accessible area roped off and left space to be able to expand it if needed. Seems like a bare minimum requirement, but so many other venues I've attended recently haven't even done that!
This beautiful building / venue was ideal for the gig we went to see . The balcony area was fantastic and the view to the stage was great. Also the acoustic sound of the building really complimented the lead singers voice. The staff were helpful and friendly. Happy to chat and have laughs with the queuing crowd. Also the toilets were very clean and the actually place internally had kept its old charm and atmosphere from days gone by.
Really liked this venue. The security staff were good. Bar staff weren't great, but that's to be expected. Size and sound were great. Saw Jeff Tweedy there and it was an incredible night.
Great venue. Standing and seated areas. Not to big. Saw From The Jam in June '26.
Islington Assembly Hall offered a very enjoyable venue to experience the June Freedom March 2026 concert. The sound was beyond audible, the seating on the balcony comfortable a surprising blessing and the lighting effects created a special touch. I'd go again!
