Absolutely brilliant for adults and children. Great interactive experience and near a lot of Londons main architectural attractions too. So once you've been in there's lots to do and see. Great family day out, and would definitely go again. We were lucky to go I'm half term the day after Halloween so it was even better. We brought tickets in advance as we were travelling from quite far and didn't want to get all the way there ans be sold out. But tou can just go at anytime too. Well worth the money and can't wait to go again!!!
We had an amazing time at the London dungeon. Everything from the set up to the characters was brilliant, we absolutely loved it. The actors did an amazing job at entertaining and also scaring us. The horrors of the past were truly brought to life!nnWe have the merlin pass so the entry was effectively free. I definitely recommend getting the annual pass
Fantastic place to visit. Has it's scary moments. The actors and actresses are amazing! Well done, keep up the good work.nnDefinitely think about how your child is with darkness, spooky noises and people screaming. My son has been attending since he was 7. My daughter just turned 8 said she wouldn't like to go again.nnI will say the adults attended today didn't have care for children not being able to see. They wanted to ensure they had front row seats everywhere and pushing when being moved around. Like Shrek, I would of like someone saying children come to the front.
We had a brilliant time at the dungeon with the scenes being played out skillfully by the actors who also provided suspense and laughs in equal measure. The special effects were realistic especially the physical sensations that scared the heck out of us! At the end The Tavern provided a welcome cocktail in a convivial atmosphere where we could chat over the various scenes we experienced. Well worth going to.
We bought tickets in advance. The entry time was exactly as stated on the ticket school holiday so it was busy. The queue is well managed and done in stages, so you feel like you are making progress. You have to go through the photo experience, which I dislike as it just feels too commercialised - they should definitely make this optional. They give you a QR coded ticket if you want photos later on which is fine.nIt's generally pretty good, the tour takes about 90 minutes, you move through a series of rooms with different guides/characters using historical stories from London's history to tell spooky or gruesome tales. Some of the guides are extremely good, but the stories and spooky things are a bit obvious and forced. There wasn't anything scary or unexpected - everything was a bit predictable, but it is fun none the less. Kids will certainly enjoy it.nThe guidance for appropriate ages for children is probably a bit extreme and seemed to be ignored anyway - I'd guess kids from the age of 8 and upwards would be mostly OK - but there are minimum height requirements in some areas. The last things is a fairground ride that drops - that's it just a question of when - very mild, but min height is 1.4 metres.nThen of course you exit via the gift shop that smoothly morphs into an old fashioned pub, which I thought was a nice touch.nIt took us 2 hours - 30 minutes queuing inside and then 90 minutes of spooky tales.
