Excellent day festival. Absolutely huge. Multiple stages. Lots of good food options for vegans. The VIP garden was very chilled out and worth the extra money. Great day out. Dermot Kennedy was fantastic.
Overall a great day at all points east however once The Strokes started the sound guy took it upon himself to turn the volume down to levels that would have even been deemed acceptable within a library. The volume would be unacceptable for classical music let alone a rock gig. It's safe to say I'd avoid this festival at all costs in the future. The organisers should be ashamed of themselves and offer refunds to all those affected by this train crash of a gig. No doubt anyone that paid for a golden circle ticket were unaffected.
Decent fun throughout the daytime but really disappointing that they couldn’t sort out the volume for the headliner. Was straining to hear anything for the first half of the set and still wasn’t loud enough in the second half - feel a bit cheated tbh. Also very heavily congested for the exit, needs sorting out. Won’t be revisiting APE anytime soon.
Went to watch Dermot Kennedy headline the day. Really impressed with the security and organisation of the event.
It was really nice, good selection of bands a lot of food options, big espace that allowed us to walk a lot and see different stands. The only thing I would ask to be better next year is the inclination of the stage. It was hard for me because I'm short to see the strokes concert , o dknt what could be done in respect to that but it would definitely improve the experience.
