Everything from arriving to checking out was fantastic. Staff made us very welcome, and the service all round was great. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Location was great and we had a perfect stay. Nothing to improve on Rooms: Were comfortable, reasonable size and spotless. Lovely and warm too. Shower was great and the added extras of tea and coffee facilities,iron and board and hairdryer were a bonus Nearby activities: Close to the zoo, bus stop outside straight into the town centre. Bus stop across the way for a city bus straight into Glasgow town centre too Walkability: Close to some lovely eateries and bars and walking distance to the zoo Food & drinks: Breakfast was lovely always fresh and served hot. Bar prices were reasonable too and plenty of seating
Really nice place to stay. The pub looked great inside and the room was perfect. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was also fantastic. And to get transport to city center was so easy and fast. Will definitely go back again Rooms: Neat and tidy.
Everyone was super pleasant and we enjoyed the atmosphere of West Edinburgh - more of a friendly neighborhood feel and not the hustle and bustle of the city center. Great for a family and wonderful to hop down for breakfast, dinner, or a pint. We loved the ease of the access to the Lothian bus system and other food options of we wanted- Costa, Greg's, and the Co-op! Rooms were lovely. Rooms: Lovely, clean rooms with a relaxed, updated feel. Nearby activities: Not far from Edinburgh sites and activities- public transportation right by the hotel. Walkability: Easy to walk around the neighborhood and hop a bus. Food & drinks: Great selection of a classic carvery and nearby other selections.
Currently staying here and it's awesome. Housekeeping never get enough credit for such hard work they do. They are great here but special thank you to Angela housekeeping. Room kept spotless and she is so lovely, welcoming and great fun. Thanks Angela. From Wendy and jenny 218.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely stay from start to finish. We started with dinner which was great and ended with breakfast which was also pretty good warm comfy room with a lovely spotless shower room. Staff were friendly and very helpful. All round we had a great stay and will definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5

A friendly and cozy hotel close to downtown Edinburgh. Busstop right at the frontdoor. The staff was just wonderfull and lovely. The rooms were small but that just gave you that cozy feeling. It didn't bother us at all. The food was very good and tastefull.Rooms: 4/5

Fantastic place room was fab with big comfy bed and room was spotlessly clean. We had dinner and drinks in carvery great selection of meat and veg. My Auntie booked the room for us as we wanted to come to the Christmas markets in edinburgh Rooms: Spotless, comfy bed the wife had the best sleep ever Nearby activities: Bus stop right outside hotel to go into town Food & drinks: Carvery and cooked breakfast were fantastic great selection of everything. Even got a picture with Santa at breakfast
