We have just got home and we wish we were back there. The scenery is stunning as is the lodge. Our flat was spacious but so homely with wonderful touches such as a play room for the children, DVD’s and books, and wonderful herbal teas. Our hosts were lovely and they run the lodge with a wonderful ethos to work with nature and minimise waste. So much to do in the local area even with little ones. We would highly recommend.
Just home from a magical 4 day break with friends at Leithen Lodge. Our accommodation at The Stables was charming, cosy and unique. We had everything we needed to escape from the world in a beautiful setting with friendly hosts who clearly love their home . Our Spa experience with the lovely Emma was fantastic and we felt our stress floating away. Definitely a place to recommend, we will be back.
I had the pleasure of filming a piano video in the ballroom last week. Julie and Ted are incredibly warm and kind hosts and the venue is exceptional. Would highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5
Could be transformed into an outstanding place to stay. First impressions are very negative....'Private Road - no vehicles unless visiting houses'......'Don't walk around the perimeter of the house'....'Dont put stuff down the toilet'.......'Don't walk in the house with your outdoor shoes'......No positivity here!
Magical stay at this stunning property which has a special beautiful energy about it. The walks are magical, I love the ancient forest. This is my 4th time staying and I can’t wait to get back again to switch off from the outside world. Julie & Ted have always been the most welcoming hosts. Can’t wait for our next returnRooms: 5/5
its the next time now and i did get to make burgurs it was goood enjoyesd the smoked cheese on it that grandma got us thanks grandma. willam needs money for driving liecense so he can give lifts to the boyzzRooms: 5/5
