3 Nights as a Part of Scotland Trip we chose this Private Lodge Hotel for our Accommodation. And I really appreciate the way we were welcomed by Mr. Fernando the receptionist of this Hotel. Mr. Fernando gave us our room and also explained about the Hotels Rules and other information in a very smooth way. I also really enjoyed the Dinning Area shown to us by Mr. Fernando where we had our Breakfast and Dinners. The Room we purchased was really for a Good Price by Miss Kinga. Would like to appreciate her fast booking over the Phone call and through email. This Hotel is Located on the other side of Edinburgh nice to drive through here, there is also lots of Parking Space, but let the reception know about your vehicle registration. The Rooms were really quite bigger than expected with sitting in the outside area as well. Railway station is also close to this hotel which is a walking distance of 12 Minutes. And the bus stop is literally close by like 5-7 minutes. There is shop out of it and quick fast food restaurant besides. Also thank you Michal for your email response too, I really appreciate the way you look upon your customers. Once again thank you Mr. Fernando for everything during our stay. And Miss Kinga for all your support, couldn't meet up with you as you were on holidays. See you.
Small, privately run hotel within Inverkeithing. 5 minute saunter to the railway station and less than 30 minutes on train to Edinburgh. Spacious private car park and although they don't appear to offer meals there is a bakery and convenience store about 3 mins walk away. Yes the rooms might need a wee bit of TLC but it was clean, warm and comfortable. Staff were approachable, friendly and very helpful.nnIf you are looking for an easily accessible, cheap we paid less than £30 per person for the night - try getting that in Edinburgh! and comfortable place to stay with easy train access into Edinburgh then this is ideal.
Price friendly hotel. Rooms a bit dusty, walls paper thin. It is an older building therefore layout can be considered a bit strange.nLocation is a 25 min drive to Edinburgh city centre.nLady at front desk was polite and had no issues checking us in. There was parking available
A peacefull place and very near to Edinburgh City, from here a walk of 3 minutes you will reach train station and take both sides ticket to Edinburgh which takes 20-25 minutes, it will save you a lot of money in your Edinburgh trip. Buses are also available. Few food joints and stores are also available. Enjoyed our stay.
Great wee hotel! Clean, cozy, and well looked after. Friendly folk and handy parking. Perfect stop for a night or two near Edinburgh we’ll be back for sure! Don’t get the bad reviews — great value.
