This is my first ever review of any restaurant/takeaway but i am compelled to write this review of Indian Ocean. I rang up and gave my order to the chap over the phone gave him the card details and he said it would be around 45 min 1 hour which is pretty standard. Well 45 min rolled by than an 1 hour all good, 1 hour 20 min thought i would ring just to see? we were getting hungrier, shock no answer? tried again the same?? gave it 10 more minutes rang and no answer :-o. 1:45 hours went past the same and after 2 hours drove to the restaurant. The phone was ringing when i went inside and there was nobody about, then the chap came out from the back, so asked him what was going on only for him to tell me that my order had not been placed because they were so busy!!!! My jaw nearly hit the floor with the sheer incompetence of what i have just witnessed, its now after 9 pm. Its as if the chap didn't care just a hollow apology and a shrug !!!! They should not have taken my order if they had no intention of for filling it. They could/should have rang me back to say they were unable to cook the curry, so i was left to go next door to yummy pizza which was very nice. Don't waste your time with them because they will waste it for you if you give them the chance. (appalling)

The Tandoori King Prawn Masala was £9.95 but only had 3 not very big prawns. Not a good buy. What a shame as the rest of the meal was lovely.

Oh dear, was 5 star now 3. Food has always been good and quick. But tonight we had to want 1hr 20mins. I rang at 1 hour and said I ordered an hour ago, but before I could give my address he said it's on the way and hung up. When the delivery finally arrived the driver said "sorry it's late, it's very windy so I can't drive fast". The food was very spicy and not its usual quality. I will try once more and update this if it's better or things have got worse!

the best in the area - very fresh ingredients, we've had takeaway from here 5 times and its been consistently good. Its not greasy and all the dishes are different rather than other takeaways where all the currys have been made with the same base sauce then a couple of different garnishes to have the illusion of being different. The staff are always freindly and the food is freshly prepared every time. The people who've posted bad reviews are probably working for other curry takeaways in the area - they are all terrible but dressed up with more fancy shop fronts.

This is my first ever review but I am so disappointed with many aspects of the Indian Ocean that I felt the need to write this review. The main points are as follows; 1) Man on the phone was very rude and hung up on me when I was confirming my order. 2) Was promised a 45 minute delivery time which ended up being a 1 hour 45 minute delivery time. When I called to complain the man didn't seem to care and just advised that they were busy. 3) The chicken was very tough and my dish was cold. The naan bread seemed like it had been reheated in the microwave. I will never order from this restaurant again and advise anyone looking for a nice meal to avoid this place.
